Choosing your panel
Which InfraHeal red light therapy panel is right for me?
All InfraHeal panels use 7–8 science-backed wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. The main difference is size, which decides how much of your body each session covers:
- Lite (about 53 cm tall): compact, for targeted areas such as the face, shoulders or knees, and for smaller spaces.
- Pro and Max (about 1 metre tall): cover a large area of the body in one session. The Max is our best-selling panel.
- ELITE (about 136 cm tall): covers more of the body at once, for quicker full-body sessions.
- ULTRA (about 166 cm tall): our largest panel, for head-to-toe sessions at home or in a clinic.

Why do 7–8 wavelengths matter?
Different wavelengths are absorbed at different depths. Red light is absorbed mainly in the skin's outer layers, while near-infrared light reaches deeper into muscle and joint tissue. Combining 7–8 wavelengths lets one session cover the skin through to deeper tissue, where many generic panels use only 1 or 2 wavelengths.
What makes InfraHeal panels different from cheaper panels sold online?

Can one panel be shared by the whole household?
Yes. Each person simply has their own session. Larger panels such as the Max, ELITE and ULTRA cover more of the body at once, which makes sessions quicker for families and couples.
Using your panel
How do I use a red light therapy panel?
- Position the panel at the distance recommended in your manual, at the height of the area you want to target.
- Switch on and set the timer. Most sessions take about 10 minutes per area.
- Stand or sit facing the panel with the area uncovered. Turn around to do your back.
Use it once a day, at the same time each day, so it becomes part of your routine.
How far should I stand from the panel?
Your manual and product page list the recommended distance for your panel. As a general rule, closer gives a stronger session over a smaller area, and further away gives a gentler session over a larger area. Start at the recommended distance and adjust to what feels comfortable.
Can I sit down during a session?
Yes. Many people sit on a chair or stool facing the panel, or use it while reading, stretching or relaxing. Adjust the panel height so it lines up with the area you're targeting.
How do I set up or mount my panel?
Panels plug into a the power point and are ready to use within minutes. For easy height adjustment, choose a set with a Base Stand or Branch Stand on the panel's product page. These sets cost less than buying the stand separately.
Do I need eye protection?
The light is very bright, so we recommend wearing protective glasses, especially at close range or when using the panel on your face. All InfraHeal Panels come with a complimentary pair of protective glasses.
Does the panel get hot?
You'll feel gentle warmth, mainly from the near-infrared light, but a panel won't heat you up like a sauna. If it feels too warm, step back a little.
Do your panels emit EMF?
Our panels are designed and tested for low EMF output. The output is similar to most daily household electronic devices. Read more about EMF and electronics.

When will I notice a difference?
Everyone is different. Many people say they feel relaxed after their first few sessions. Changes to skin, recovery or wellbeing build up over time, so we recommend daily use for at least 4–8 weeks to see how it works for you.
Is it safe, and who should check with their doctor first?
Red and near-infrared light contain no ultraviolet (UV) light, so they don't tan or burn your skin. Our panels are included on the ARTG, FDA listed and made under ISO 13485 certified quality standards.
Please speak with your doctor or healthcare professional before use if you're pregnant, take medication that increases sensitivity to light, or have a medical condition.

I suffer from extreme eczema and this machine helps me grow new healthy skin! I had a membership to a tanning salon for the use of the red light, It was costly and sometimes hard to get in for an appointment that worked for my schedule, now that I have my own in my home eczema flare ups are easier to get in front of.
