The InfraHeal Flexi Pad emits three wavelengths: 660nm, 850nm and 940nm. 660nm red light is visible and sits at the skin's surface. 850nm and 940nm near-infrared light are longer wavelengths that travel deeper. The Flexi Pad combines all three across a wider surface, so it covers more of the back, stomach or hips in one session.
How Red & Near-Infrared Light Works
Red and near-infrared light are studied in photobiomodulation research for how they interact with mitochondria, the parts of cells that produce energy. The InfraHeal Flexi Pad delivers 660nm red light and 850nm and 940nm near-infrared light directly against the skin.

What is a red light therapy pad?
A red light therapy pad is a flexible, wearable LED pad that delivers red and near-infrared light to a larger area of the body. The InfraHeal Flexi Pad is wider and more rectangular than a wrap, so it suits broader areas such as the back, stomach and hips.
What wavelengths does the Flexi Pad use?
It uses three wavelengths: 660nm red light, and 850nm and 940nm near-infrared light, across 120 LEDs, with a listed irradiance of 120 mW/cm² at the surface.
Can the Flexi Pad be used flat, without the strap?
Yes. Use the adjustable elastic strap to hold the pad in place on the back, stomach or hips, or lay it flat like a small mat and rest your back, legs or feet on it while sitting or lying down. If you have pets, it can also be laid flat for small dogs or cats to rest on.
Should I choose a red light therapy pad or a full-body mat?
Choose the Flexi Pad for targeted use on one larger area at a time, at home or on the go. Choose a full-body red light therapy mat if you want to cover the whole body in one session while lying down.
What is the difference between the Flexi Pad and the Flexi Wrap?
Both use the same three wavelengths. The Flexi Pad (40 × 22 cm) is wider, with an elastic strap, for larger areas. The Flexi Red Light Wrap (40 × 17 cm) is narrower, with velcro ends that wrap around the neck, elbows, wrists, knees and other smaller joints. Is the Flexi Pad cordless?
Yes. It has a built-in rechargeable battery with up to 3–4 hours of use per charge, and takes 7–8 hours to fully charge via the included USB charger.
How do the light modes work?
Press the power button to cycle through red and near-infrared together, red only, and near-infrared only. Hold the button for just over three seconds to switch to pulse mode. The pad turns off automatically after 15 minutes.
Is the Flexi Pad safe to use?
The pad uses UV-free LED light and a low-EMF design, and holds FDA, ISO13485 and RoHS approvals. Always follow the instructions and safety guidance supplied with your device.
What warranty and shipping are included?
The Flexi Pad includes free worldwide shipping, a 2-year product replacement warranty and a 60-day guarantee. Orders ship via Australia Post, UPS or FedEx Express, usually within 4–8 business days, with regional areas sometimes taking longer.
