How Red & Near-Infrared Light Works
Red and near-infrared light are studied in photobiomodulation research for how they interact with mitochondria, the parts of cells that produce energy. The InfraHeal Flexi Wrap delivers 660nm red light and 850nm and 940nm near-infrared light directly against the skin.

What is a flexible red light therapy wrap?
It is a flexible, wearable LED wrap that delivers red and near-infrared light to smaller areas of the body. The InfraHeal Flexi Wrap has velcro at each end, so it can be wrapped around a joint and secured in place for hands-free use.
Which body areas can the Flexi Wrap be used on?
The Flexi Wrap is designed for all joints and smaller areas, including the neck, elbows, wrists, knees and shoulders. Its narrower size (40 × 17 cm) and velcro ends let it wrap snugly around each area.
What wavelengths does the Flexi Wrap use?
It uses three wavelengths: 660nm red light, and 850nm and 940nm near-infrared light, across 120 LEDs, with a listed irradiance of 108 mW/cm² at the surface.
Should I choose the Flexi Wrap or the Knee & Shoulder Wrap?
Choose the Flexi Wrap if you want one wrap you can move between different joints, such as the neck, elbows and wrists. Choose the Red Light Knee & Shoulder Wrap if you mainly want to use it on your knees or shoulders, as it is shaped specifically for those joints.
What is the difference between the Flexi Wrap and the Flexi Pad?
Both use the same three wavelengths. The Flexi Wrap (40 × 17 cm) is narrower, with velcro ends for wrapping around smaller joints. The Flexi Red Light Therapy Pad (40 × 22 cm) is wider, with an elastic strap, for larger areas such as the back and stomach.
Is the Flexi Wrap cordless?
Yes. It has a built-in rechargeable battery with up to 3–4 hours of use per charge, and takes 5–6 hours to fully charge via the included USB charger.
How do the light modes work?
Press the power button to cycle through red and near-infrared together, red only, and near-infrared only. Hold the button for just over three seconds to switch to pulse mode. The wrap turns off automatically after 15 minutes.
Is the Flexi Wrap safe to use?
The wrap uses UV-free LED light and a low-EMF design, and holds FDA, ISO13485 and RoHS approvals. Always follow the instructions and safety guidance supplied with your device.
